So what about fatty? Well because of my upcoming adventures with the Moms Panel in Orlando, along with dance recitals, gymnastics, work etc. etc. we realized that there just isn't much "free" time for us to go tree hunting. So with a nice 40 degree day on Saturday, we went for it!
We traveled to the "usual" tree farm (which is really anything but, it's wonderful), and I was thankful that there was no snow on the ground. Although it takes away from the "dashing through the snow" feeling we normally get, it was a heck of a lot easier for the kids to hike it themselves!
So at about the highest point of land, Daddy & the kids found "fatty". That was the only word that would describe it. We searched a bit more, but all the kids wanted & agreed on fatty...so fatty it was. I would prefer to just call it plump, but the kids got a kick out of getting to use the word fatty!

I have come to realize that a plump tree really works for us. Most of our ornaments wind up on the bottom third of the tree anyhow, so a tall tree isn't a requisite.
After much bickering about who gets to put the star on top, I picked a name out of a hat - and Master Nolan was chosen to do the honor.

How sweet, I love that you got a fatty tree and so agree about where the ornaments always end up!
Unfourtnately since it's been up we've lost Pluto & Mickey. They are in Dad's superglue repair shop right now....
